Hey there!

Hi, I'm Rajat Singh, a Software Engineer passionate about building scalable backend systems and product engineering in 0 → 100 journeys.

I've worked across enterprise and high-scale product teams, including Alteryx, Zscaler, Wingify, and Travel Creators, and I'm now starting my next chapter at DataHub (India) as an early engineering hire.

Software Engineer
October 2024 - January 2026
CDFs Generation: Worked on Development of a middle layer in Alteryx Cloud to translate workflow XMLs into CDFs, an internal SQL-like language, ensuring compatibility across various data engines like Databricks, Snowflake and impacting 50+ B2B customers.
Dynamic Tools: Enhanced the grammar of an internal tooling language to support dynamic, data-reactive features (e.g., wildcard builder, except, replace), enabling 6+ new Alteryx Designer Cloud tools with advanced reasoning capabilities.
Browser level Caching: Implemented browser-level caching with DuckDB, cutting execution time from 4000ms to 300ms, designed multiple cache-deletion strategies (LRU, hard refresh, and custom) to ensure data freshness and reliability.
4x Alteryx Hackathon Winner: Won 3 consecutive Innovation Day hackathons in the last three quarters, delivering impactful POCs in AI-driven workflows, large-scale anomaly detection, and ML-powered log debugging.

Worked on development of latency-based server swapping for Zscaler Client Connector, an application used by over 40 million users, with a primary focus on Tunnel 2.0 to enhance internet security.
Implemented Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) Support via Zscaler Private Access for Tunnel 2.0, impacting 5M+ internet transactions daily.

Software Engineer Intern
December 2023 - March 2024
Worked on an in-house Content Delivery Network (CDN) serving 10k+ requests per second per node. Optimized their legacy code-base by 20% by implementing best practices
: Implemented data residency using Bloom filters, impacting 8k+ B2B customers, significantly improving the speed of membership tests for multiple attributes.

Travel Creators (London, U.K)

Software Engineer Intern
January, 2023 - April, 2023
Successfully integrated third-party payouts via Stripe Connect and Stripe webhooks, fully automating payment transfers for creators through cron jobs. Developed and maintained over 15 APIs for payment processing
Built the entire backend for Trips and Creator sections from scratch with an impact on User-base of 10,000 active users, implemented authentication, created model, controllers, routers, and stored real-time data in MongoDB.
